Yeah, I know...AvP is so "5 minutes ago". But, I thought these were cool. I don't have any real info on these other than the pics and a brief description. I do know that they're about 10" tall and non-poseable. The Alien comes in a "normal" color version and "stealth" version. The Pred comes in a "normal" color version and a stealth version as well. I've pre-ordered the regular colored Alien from a seller on Yahoo Japan and am looking for the Pred now. As soon as I have them in hand, I'll let you guys know what they're like.

I paid about $20 for the one I pre-ordered. But, since it was a Japanese auction, I'm not sure if I'm getting just one or both of the Aliens. They Look freaken Awesome man. And 10 Inchs in size. Very Nice Size. Wonder if they will bring a PredAlien Out. Sabres21768 do you have the link where you purchases these babies please. I bought mine from a seller on Yahoo Japan auctions. The only place that I've seen them for pre-order so far is Hobbylink Japan. But I think they're not taking anymore pre-orders now. http://www.hlj.com/product/FRU1509-Ahttp://www.hlj.com/product/FRU1510-AYour best bet is to check out Yahoo Japan auctions. They pop up there quite often right now. We have a thread on YP auctions with the Alien and Predator category linked for you guys: http://www.thehiveforum.net/forum/index.php/topic,3148.0.html

Damn Sabres, I wish I could have gone in with you! I don't know why but I find the whole Yahoo Japan thing such a huge Hassle! I don't suppose you picked up an extra one by accident? Well, the Alien(s) are on the way by slow boat. As the translation of the page was a little funky, I'm not sure if I got both variants or just the one. If I got both, I'll be letting the "stealth" version go if you're interested. I've also just bought the companion Scar figs that go with it. Same thing with this, I'll be selling the "stealth" version.

Seeing as these are slightly crouched, they might look good next to the Medi-alien.

Saw them in person... I don't think the pics do 'em justice - they are THE BEST DETAILED AVP ALIENS right now -- better detail than the kotobukiya - the paint is VERY deliberate and precise - I was VERY IMPRESSED - I was not impressed by the pics and would have passed on them had I not seen them in person...they are awesome - (didn't see the predator yet) I put them on hold as they hadn't been priced yet...
update: I got the aliens -- they are too awesome !!! They come w a tail stand that initially looks like interior blister packing at first glance .. the original color ver. is way more detailed as the black one is simply molded in black -- nice tho...

I know the thing looks small in the pics - in any pics -and I don't know y ( it is about 10" after all)- but the details are so precise and deliberate - nothing on this figure looks haphazardly thrown on - It is a very impressive piece - the paint job is more precise than the sega vinyl also done in a type of wash - the paint sticks into every tiny groove in the figure - very VERY nicely done - looks like the best quality control on a vinyl figure I'd seen in a long, long time... btw don't throw out the polycarbonate looking cup part - that's his tail stand - tho he doesn't seem to need it - but if you live anywhere it gets warm, you won't want it to droop due to heat - and it might without the support...

The figure looks very impressive! Is is a statue or does it have any type of articulation? Could you post pics next to other Alien-related figures for size-comparison purposes?
Thanks!

it's about 10 in. tall, it's really like a kotobukiya vinyl statue, no articulation. but it looks great, and has a great pose.

GREAT PICS!!!
I just had a chance to check out one of the opened ones -- FYI - this is NOT HOLLOW VINYL
these are SOLID PVC Figures!
They are heavy for their size and exceed all expectations re detail and quality...they also stand so well they do not even need the stand...

Not sure if this has been posted - this site has some beautiful pics of the FuRyu Predator to accompany the cool Japanese Alien figure we've all been admiring: http://msz006yama.sakura.ne.jp/yama/predator.htmI am pretty impressed with these things.

I've got both versions of the Scar Pred coming. I'll post pics as soon as it arrives. On a side note...I'm selling the "stealth" versions of both the Alien and the Predator. If anyone is interested, drop me a pm. And you guys do know that the Preds are still for sale ALL OVER Yahoo Japan right? http://list4.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/2084040559-category-leaf.html

Yeah - cool - but expensive (comes in at around $1000 US plus intermediary charges + shipping) There's lot's of stuff on Yahoo Japan worth keeping an eye on though - kits that distributors charge a fortune for in the States that can be got at a fraction of the cost direct from here. .

I just got my set in - these things are quite the steal! Sculpting is extremely intricate and fully-realized all around. Paint apps are clean and precise with no messy overspray. I really can't recommend these enough - just freaking great sculpts.
