abake / alien_tattoo .... where is that "tug of war" icon when you need it ?
PLEASE KEEP KEEPING IT RESPECTFUL GUYS LOL! No prob man! Alien tat, not trying to pick a fight here, but I was simply reacting to your statement that HT had done a good job on the A3 alien and that you hoped they stepped up and did the same with this one, is all... But, if you say that's not what you meant, the that's not what you meant and I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Anyway, the new pics over at the Freaks board are really nice, and while still not accurate, it is a great looking alien.

No worries. We are on the same side here after all! Did you guys notice the spurs on the ankles seem to be there? That's good news. The muscular calves still bother me, but they don't look as prominent now. We'll see if HT does make some adjustments this time around.

When they say "Big Chap" in scale with the other figs, does anyone know for sure what the height is going to be? Will this be the same size as the Alien Warrior, etc?
Thanks!

Yup, it says -if I'm not mistaken- that it will be 16", which is the same height of the other figures (more or less, I think the Aliens one is slightly shorter). And "Big Chap" is a term used for the grown alien from the first movie.

Mine is preordered, with absolute conviction, and yes, I will be "adjusting" mine upon arrival. Will have the table cleared and tools at the ready. He won't go to the shelf without being corrected.

Oh, come on... So they've made all those super extra high resolutioned pics just to write "the product shown is not final" It IS a final product... what is more, the pics went through photo shop, hardly noticable, but that's how it looks like. Regards

Is that a hellpainter paint job?
Check out the enormous tab on the underside of the skull. I'm assuming that's for extending the inner jaw?

I placed my preorder with SS but I think I will cancel it. Because of the inaccuracy of this figure, the price asked for it and because SS just offer fedex shipping (so expensive) to my country, I will rather try my luck on ebay when it will be released.

Meh, not impressed. The teeth look like they cut the head off the alien and stuck a piranha there instead. And they mucked up the hands, its two thumbs, not 5 fingers. Duh. I really think they should have tried to make this more movie accurate. And what the hell is with the skull? It looks stupid, the eye sockets are too long and menacing, in my opinion they should look small and human. Epic fail is inherent within this model.

Definitely better! Now I might get one, tho the arms and legs are still inaccurate. I wish they'd fix that then there would be no doubt I would get one.

In as much as I could have lived with some of the previous inaccuracies, I am really impressed that HT actually made the corrections. You dont see THAT happen enough.
The creature looks quite good.

Now that's what I'm talking about right there. Pre-order time!!! I hope maybe they can make the xoskeleton structure a bit darker for the final touch up. Also, the very front of the clear dome should be a hint darker just on the tip. You should be able to see the Alien skull but it's darker in that area which leaves the unknown mystery as to what the hell is that thing - - - - A L () E N - - - -

All I can say is the front dome where the upper mouth meets needs fixed. Look at the HT ALIEN has shown with the green highlighted areas that need improved. Now compare it to the real ALIEN.
