OMG!  These pics are amazing.  The sculpt and paint is impressive to say the least.  I like the detail underneath the rear of the head.  Sadly, at 1249.00 it may be out of reach for me.

Thanks Turtle for the pics.

Well, I've been waiting for some good in-hand pics of this to show up before I posted anything...and, thanks to ComputerFly from the Statue forum, I can finally do just that.

Even if you don't like the design, this is really an awe inspiring piece to look at.

I received mine today (Number 103) and it is G-D BIG! It makes my warrior bust seem absolutely puny in every way.  This is one of those circumstances where a movie that sucked gives rise to some wonderful creature designs and products.  I know it's an expensive piece (I paid $1075 for it), but when you seen the materials, engineering, size and production, you see where the money went.  I can't imagine SS making more that $150-$200 after costs, licensing, packaging and shipping from overseas.  Though there are bigger collectibles out there, aside from the 1:1 Endo, I can't think of anything more complex of intricately engineered.

Ah - what COULD have been (based on many of the other designs)  wacko

Great pictures though, and it looks like a lot of effort was put into assembly and finishing.

Gotta look on the bright side, not getting this made purchasing 2 of Narin's latest easier to fly past the Wife   yes evil laugh
