NEW Gabe Perna Predator bust

Hi folks - thought a few of you might appreciate having a look at this WIP by a very talented sculptor by the name of Gabe Perna.

I haven't been this enthused about a Pred bust since the "ancient pred" bust by Takeya.

Based on what Gabe has kindly shared:

• It's about 1/4 scale.
• Will have removable mandibles so it can be displayed with or without the mask (not pictured).
• About 60 dreds in 9 or 10 sub-sections.  They hang quite long in the back and sweep and turn with the direction of his head.  There is also a grouping of 5 tied together with a skull decoration in the back/middle.  2 longer ones hang down in front that will be ornamented with bladed tips.
• There is a large knife and scabbard attached to his back.
• He will also have a "backpack" and a gun that pivots/ turns on at least 2 points.

This thing looks incredible NOW - so I can't wait to see more pics as Gabe progresses on this.

My friend it's amazing!!!!!! yes the style is very close to takeya (and about this I remember you that you have two of that so )!!!!

Gabe is a very talented artist. I have followed his career for some time now and until lately have not been wowed. He does a lot of commission work that forces him into areas that are not comfortable and it shows in his work. But let him loose with his own creativity and be prepared to have you socks knocked off.

I am sure that Gabe will finish the Pred bust and offer it as a kit. That is if someone doesn't snatch it up first but even then it is usually another kit producer. Either way you should be seeing this wonderful bust hit the market. If you want to see more of Gabe's work check out his web site here.

Yeah, it looks great.

But, it's got too much of a "Narin sculpted Predator" look to the face for me.

I really wish this had more of a traditional look or something much more different than Narin's signature look to it.

Still cool though.

I love this.I have alot of Gabe`s sculpts as kits.The guy is one of the best.Hope this does get kitted,and hopefully by Toiletface,who is a damn good caster/producer.
