Here's something new coming from Hot Toys.

I'm not usually a fan of SD stuff...but I love that pose!
You can see it in the 3rd pic and get some sense of scale.  It's a fairly big piece.

Can I be the first, and perhaps only one to call this thing... adorable? LOL roll on floor laugh

It sort of is, really. Not to mention it's easily the coolest of any SD version of the '79 Alien I've seen yet. Beats the piping off the VCD and the Kubrick. Even the Marmit SD. Definitely buying this sucker. yes

well technically the VCD wasn't meant to be super deformed (not meant to be cute the wasy this one is - and to great effect I might add)-- whereas SD has its roots in cartoons and comics strips -- the VCD urban vinyl is more design art/urban/graffiti -related -- it's just another stylized version for a different genre of vinyls (a fine line though if you ask me)

Such a talented dude, too bad he doesn't make his alien sculpts accurate.
Having said that, this VCD is more accurate the the Movie Masterpiece!

Somebody should contact him and ask him just why he doesn't want to make accurate aliens.

I really like that cute little fella - will this be something HotToys (or someone else) releases?

Any idea how big the thing is?

Thanks for posting this.

Thanks for merging. Sorry, I did´t know the old thread.

I´m with Heavy, the sculpt looked more promising. But anyway a nice, cute piece of Alien anniversary.
