Is this an officially licensed replica?

Got a other 1:1 Alien.  Its from the - Here`s their blurb....

An amazing full size replica cast of the formidable Alien from the original Ridley Scott movie of the same name. This huge cast comes from the original Giger sculptured moulds from the production, everything is 100% movie accurate. The only area not from the original moulds is the rib section and the version here was cast from an original movie used puppet. The body is made of fibreglass with a clear vac-formed dome for the skull like head of the alien. The creature comes on a display base which holds the monsters feet in place and allows it to stand over any admirer! The head includes the inner mouth piece that is seen jutting out at it’s prey in the film.

Here it is next to the 8th Passenger from the other thread

Pics of that Alien can be found in this thread   http://www.thehiveforum.net/forum/index.php?topic=4122.0

That scares the poop outta me.  If I bought one I dont think I would be able to assemble it for fear of it coming alive...it looks so organic and real that it creeps me out.  I think it also has something to do with the fact that I hate bugs and the Alien reminds me of a very large humanoid freakishly scary bug!

*shivers looking at the pics again*

Man, that is just beyond awesome.

Maybe it's just me, but I want pics of that thing at every angle imaginable.

Man, that dome doesn't look right. The entire suit looks accurate, except the clear dome. It has that weird dip just behind the skull you see every now and then.  The heads in Giger's museum and the film don't have that skull-contour dip and the dome is pretty streamlined. Other than that and the rusty paint job, it looks great.

I never knew the heel spikes were jawbones!

This actually looks exactly like the HCG 1:1 bust that's coming out this year.

I think that's because the one depicted is from Prop Store of London and HCG used the same original to mold their 1:1 bust and full fig.

I know this hasn't been commented on for ages and please delete if admin thinks prudent, BUT this is superb.  I've been hunting for Alien reference pictures and this is the first time I've come across this thread.  Wonderful replica and high quality photos to match.  This and Jim Lawrence's painted version showcased elsewhere take some beating for in your face impact.
Thanks guys for some wonderful work.
