I know several are looking for this.
This is the rare and long sold out 23" Marmit Alien, already built and painted.
Don't miss out on this one. These don't show up often.
Yeah, this would be a great score for someone to repaint properly.

Hey Skullsoldier, what happened with that Marmit Alien? I see it ended at about $700, but now he's got it relisted. Did he not honor the final bid?

That's my understanding. He canceled the bids before the end - if he doesn't re-list, I would suspect he sold it off site. I sold my extra one recently for a pretty penny, but still have one MIB. I still think that, short of the Cinemaquette Alien, it's my favorite of the Big Chaps.

Well, he did relist it. I guess he's wanting more than what he thought he was going to get. He should put a reserve on it, if he has certain amount he's after. I wonder how much I could get for mine.

A ton...that paint job is the best.

Thanks dude. Yeah, Bobby laid the smack down on mine. No plans on selling that though. As for the eBay one...yeah...it seems a bit greedy. It's a great kit, but that paint job could definately stand for improvement. I hope that's not what he's based his set price on.

Yeah, the guy seems like a bit of a tool, IMO.
I started watching the previous listing myself when it was up to around $270. Then, suddenly, a bid was retracted and it dropped back down to just over $200. Seemed oddly suspicious. My guess is he had someone jacking the price up, but then had them cancel it. Even worse is that the entire bid history just VANISHED with less than a day left to go, and he set a ridiculous BIN price of like $699. What a freak. I'd happily pay $300-350 for this piece as is, but no more. Guy's a nut.

This is one of my favorite pieces, but to my knowledge, it has no relation to Kotobukiya. It was sculpted by a dude named Oyama and sold by Allan Wataguchi of Monsters Direct for a little while. It was actually cast here in the US and came with a vacuform dome. Killer piece, though. Scott

Scott is correct. Sassy's has screwed the pooch on this one. This auction does show the dome on the last pic, so I think it's an original...just not from where Sassy's says it's from. This is definately the Oyama Alien. I have one... (click for bigger pic)

Yeah, it's worth the asking price. It's a great kit with a cool base. Fairly rare. I've only ever seen a couple, including this one, show up on eBay.

They originally sold for the low low price of $125, but disappeared quickly. Given the sculpt and casting quality, I would estimate the value of the kit to be closer to $350 if mint. Because the Sassy's one is built and primed, $200 is a VERY fair starting price. This is probably the best big chap resin kit out there; the only more accurate pieces are the Marmits (cold cast and vinyl).

I think (based on what the more knowledgeable members here have stated before) that this is the term used to descibe the fully grown Alien from A1. Guys - if I've got this wrong let me know - I am SO not the expert on "Xenomorphus-Stuffus". .

Yes, it's what Giger's suit was called while filming.
Much like the Pred and Predalien in AvP:R were called "Wolf" and "Chet".

Cool - I'm not as senile as I thought then.
Strange on the listing though - I just went in to "watch" it, and even though it said there was over a day left, the listing is now marked as "closed" - WTF!
